TLDR: Good for hydration, Wearing overnight is unnecessary - 45 minutes works just as well.

I purchased the collagen mask (the option with the spatula applicator). I like the applicator instead of using my hands, but the back of a clean spoon would work just as well (do not use a makeup brush to apply, as this stuff gets sticky).

The directions instruct you to apply a thin layer all over your face and let it dry. Then, sleep on it and peel it off in the morning. I didn't like doing it this way because by the time I woke up, half of it was already peeled off all over my pillow (I am a restless sleeper). I tested different durations of wearing this mask, and if I had it on for less than 30 minutes, I didn't notice any difference in my skin. However, if I waited 45 minutes, my skin felt just as hydrated as it did after wearing the mask overnight. So now I wear it for 45 minutes and then take it off.

Also, if you apply too thin a layer, it's tough to remove (it doesn't come off in a large piece, but rather in 500 tiny slivers). I've found that the sweet spot is a quarter-size dollop for the top half of my face, and another quarter-size dollop for the bottom half (beware of the eye area, as you don't want this product drying in your eyebrows or lashes). This way, when it does dry, you can peel it off fairly easily.

I've also found it helpful to apply this after a shower, and then use my hair dryer on the cold setting to gently dry the mask on my face before continuing with my hair routine. The mask takes a while to dry and is very sticky when it's still wet, so this makes it easier to do other things while I let it work.

All in all, it won't change your skin texture or remove wrinkles. However, it does provide a healthy dose of hydration and is an excellent prep for my other skin care. I use this once or twice a week, and I have noticed that my makeup wears much more evenly, so it's doing something!

Pros: I absolutely LOVE this mask. Easy to put on and dries relatively quickly (15 minutes). It’s light and flexible so for the most part it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing it. It’s not sticky to touch when it’s dry either. I had massive breakouts on my cheeks the first night I tried this and when I woke up in the morning there was a visible difference in the size of those pimples and my skin was soft and generally felt great.

Cons: not many cons but I will give the only two I found. If you’re a side/stomach sleeper like me, at least part of the mask is going to rub off onto your pillow over night. Depending on how much you put on and what rubs off overnight the mask can be a little difficult to get off. Parts of it will come off clean but other times there will be little pieces left. But rinsing your face with water easily removes and residue.

Final note: I love the fact that this mask is a convenient and easy way to make sure your face stays moisturized all night! Overall I think it’s a great quality product and is well worth the price.

This mask is worth checking out, it is like a facial in a tube! You put it on before bed, let it dry, and it forms a film that seals in your moisturizer all night. You might want to apply it after you use your cleanser and toner. I also like to apply my serum and the fantastic Collagen Jelly Cream before sealing it all in with the Wrapping Mask. It feels sticky on the skin until it dries completely. Be patient! It is supposed to give your skin a boost while sleeping, then peeled or washed off in the morning. After using it, my skin felt more hydrated, brighter, and glowy. The mask made my skin feel more firm and I think it also helps retain moisture throughout the day. It contains Ceramide NP, Collagen Extract, and Adenosine.

If you want to boost your skin's hydration and elasticity overnight, this mask is worth trying. It is easy to use and delivers on its promises. Make sure to allow enough time for it to dry before sleeping, especially for side sleepers.

Unlike a lot of others, I’m not on the TikTok so I didn’t buy because it went viral. I have some other Medicube products and have been happy with the results so far. I also didn’t read about it so was completely unaware after waking up in the morning I was going to get to peel it off my face! It’s early days yet so I can’t speak to any long term effects. However, my skin is way more moisturized and plump in the morning. It blows my Dermologica Pro Collagen Banking Serum out of the water, in both price and results. My skin does not play well with multiple products under makeup, so the bulk of my skincare gets done at night.
